On Saturday 11th December, members gathered to honour and celebrate some of our North Steyne members who give their time and knowledge year after year. Service Awards were presented for 10 to 60 years of service to the North Steyne SLSC, what an honour it is to be their chosen club.
The doors to the Life Member club were opened for Richard Donaldson (Trainer, Assessor, IRB Driver, Master “Boatie” Surf Boat Rower), an all round champion of the club. Richard is always there to help, coach and have a laugh along the way! Congratulations Richard !!!

We also took the time to honour and thank one of the quiet achievers who is now with us in spirit. Joe Jenkins will always be remembered by many but now his photo is going up on the wall like he said it would be one day and also there is now the Joe Jenkins patrol rescue board.
