A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day as this type of event would not happen without you.

A special thanks goes to Bernie and Tracey for all the effort and organisation of the swim, Dave and helpers for the early set-up and pull down, Richard (including Molly for her great organisation) and all the IRB drivers and crews, Johno for his fantastic support in directing traffic with the water safety, and everyone who helped out on boards and ski’s keeping a close eye on all our swimmers.

Further, Mark and his patrol for helping out throughout the swim and the great support of the first aid team of Clare and Joe who saw a few very cold patients. And, of course, thanks to the A-Team for the ongoing sustenance with the BBQ’s.

Finally, thanks to Club Captain Dan Hillier for coordinating all the water safety and ensuring that everyone returned safe and sound to shore.

Well done to all for a great community and fantastic team effort!
