After careful consideration, the Board has made the difficult decision not to proceed with the North Steyne Ocean Swim in 2026.

As a volunteer-run club fundraiser event, the Ocean Swim requires significant coordination and volunteer support to meet community standards and expectations.

With ongoing marine activity, we are mindful of the sentiment of the community and our members, which would impact the sustainability of this year’s event.

While we’re disappointed, our top priority is the wellbeing of participants, volunteers, and the community.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for a safe and enjoyable Ocean Swim event in 2027.
