Sun Run Fundraiser

The Sun Run is on again on Saturday 2 February 2019 which raises funds for the North Steyne SLSC and our Nippers Programs. Registration is easy, particularly if you registered last year. Go to the group members list, see if your details are there and then use the login link to select your shift. For those that have been marshals before, please nominate for these earlier sign-on and note that the hours are approximate with the bulk being from 5.45am-9.30am.

Registration
Each volunteer has to be registered and this year those from 8 and above are to be registered and checked in will be counted towards your groups donation. Remember to do the quick quiz, select the workforce@fairfaxmedia address and select a shirt size.

Check if you have already have a Workforce Portal from a previous event, if you see their name on your group member list they already have an account and will just need to login and select their shift. There is a website with more information about how to use your portal here.

For those group members you do not see on your group member list, please have them create their Workforce Portal and select their shift using this link.

Group Allocation:
Finish Marshals – 10 volunteers. You must be 16 years of age or over to volunteer with your group in this position (Finish line area in Manly and also setting up finish line and drinks station as well as an earlier start)
Finish Drink Station – 30 volunteers. You must be a minimum 8 years of age to volunteer with your group in this position (Mixture of Nippers and Parents)
Finish Medals – 20 volunteers. You must be a minimum 8 years of age to volunteer with your group in this position (Mainly the younger Nippers and a couple of parents to supervise)
Course Marshals – 16 volunteers. You must be 18 years of age or over to volunteer in this role (Mainly Boaties and volunteers around Queenscliff and Freshwater as well as an earlier start)
Course Fillers – 5 volunteers. You must be 18 years of age or over to volunteer in this role (To report to Dee Why to be bussed to locations as required)
