The North Steyne SLSC Ocean Swim is back after a 2 year hiatus due to COVID on Sunday 10th April!

Starting at North Steyne Surf Club (middle of Manly Beach) you’ll journey into Cabbage Tree Bay Marine Reserve which is home to over 160 species of fish! The 1km ocean swim is the perfect ocean swim if you’re not quite up to the 2.8km distance just yet. This 1km ocean swim course heads out through the surf for 50m before turning left and heading north. The 2.8km ocean swim starts out in front of North Steyne SLSC in the middle of Manly Beach, heads out through the surf and takes a sharp right turn south. From here you will swim parallel to the beach heading across to Fairy Bower and into the Cabbage Tree Bay Marine Reserve and all the magic that awaits beneath the surface. The 5km ocean swim is the best part of two laps of the main course to Cabbage Tree Bay Marine Reserve and back.

Minimum Age: 1km – 9-years-old, 2.8km – 13-years-old, 5km – 13-years-old
