What a great week-end of celebrations for North Steyne! With 160 people at our 110th Black & Gold Anniversary Dinner at St. Patrick’s College on Saturday, we reflected on our proud history, heard some great stories, and celebrated with great food and dancing.
A number of special guests joined us at the dinner including James Griffin, Member for Manly, Michael Regan, Northern Beaches Council Mayor, and David Murray, President, SLSNSW. We were also joined by the Presidents of Manly and Queenscliff. Our life members turned out in force and it was great to see so many of our very distinguished members there.
Thank you to everyone who attended the dinner and helped us to celebrate such an important occasion.
On Sunday, Premier Gladys Berejiklian visited the Club and presented National Medals of Service to Frank Traugott, Paul Mathew, and Tim Platt. The Premier, accompanied by James Griffin and SLSNSW CEO Steven Pierce, also spent time talking to members of the Club, including spending time with our Nippers.
Congratulations to Frank, Paul and Tim for receiving the National Medals of Service.
