A night to recognise and celebrate our volunteer members and the enormous contribution made over the Surf Life Saving season 2023/24 at North Steyne.⁠

Friday 17th May From 6pm at the Balgowlah RSL. Canapés will be served at 6.30pm with the Club awards presentation to commence at 7pm sharp with David Guthrie, Club Captain as the Master of Ceremonies.⁠

As we commemorate Anzac Day 2024, we stand in solemn remembrance of the bravery and sacrifice of those who served our nation.⁠
⁠
Today, we will lay a wreath at the Manly Dam dawn service to pay tribute and pause to honour the memory of those who served and sacrificed for our freedom and extend our respect and gratitude to present defence personnel. Their bravery continues to inspire generations, reminding us of the importance of unity, resilience, and sacrifice.⁠

Aussies 2024 ||

Well done to our team who represented North Steyne at Aussies on the Sunshine Coast. We had representatives across Youth, Opens, Masters in Boats as well as lifesaving events.

Thanks to our fabulous officials Jodie and Keith who make it possible for us to compete and our wonderful support crew.

Gold & Silver - Shannon Job 30-39M Champion Lifesaver & 35-39M 2km run
Gold - Caroline Yarnell 60-64F 1km run
Bronze - Sarah Lally 30-39F Champion Lifesaver

Well done to our U17 Patrol Competition Team placing 5th in their first ever national event & Leo Gibbenson for 8th in U15 Champ lifesaver

Open FA Penguins finished with an impressive 5th & our Masters Black Swans finished 4th overall on 200yr M. Special mention to 240yr M Masters Gold who did amazing rowing in their event.

Shout out to Claire & Florence who spent 2 long days with us on the beach and to Claire for her Gold in Open R&R

Thanks to our members who covered our patrols and supported our campaign this season.
