A message from Judy Jenkins, Joe’s mum…
“Here is the stunning & amazing video of “Joe’s Paddle Out”, which was held at North Steyne Surf Lifesaving Club on Sunday 20 February 2022. Around 70 people turned up to pay their respects to our darling Joe, by paddling out – not including those who stayed on the beach to watch.
Thank you North Steyne Surf Life Saving Club, other local Lifesaving Clubs, some of Joe’s High School & Primary School friends, some of Kyra’sโ close friends & all our close friends, some we haven’t seen for many years, for all coming together to be with us to share in this moving event.
Mike, Kyra & I felt so honoured to be able to share marking Joe’s passing on such a glorious morning, surrounded by friends. It was just the type of morning Joe would have chosen.
