As members are aware, North Steyne is currently under construction. After a few years of planning, our balconies are finally being repaired. Not only are they being repaired, but we will have 2 brand new balconies for all members to enjoy.
Building works started on Monday, 29 October and should last for 4-6 weeks. We are hoping to have access to the balconies well in-time for our Christmas party, and therefore the majority of the summer.
Brett Patrick, North Steyne member, has been instrumental in getting this project up and running and making sure that everything is being done right. We would like to thank Brett for his tremendous help!
As a matter of safety, do not enter the construction zone and steer clear of the scaffolding. While all effort is being made to ensure all building materials are cleaned up, there is a chance that things can go astray and so caution is needed.
The balcony works have been made possible by a grant from the NSW government, and we are hoping that this is just the beginning of significant improvements to our club house.
