A new Board of Directors for the upcoming season was elected at the AGM on 12 September 2020. All of last season’s Directors are returning to the Board bringing considerable experience and stability to the club. Chris Gibbs Stewart returns as President, undeterred by the challenges of Covid19 in her first year as president.
Special thanks to Cath Hillier as Secretary and Deb Foote as Competition Director for the excellent jobs they did last season and for continuing on as assistant directors. Sarah Lally steps up to be Competition Director and Frank Traugott returns as Secretary. Thanks to all those that are not continuing. We wish Tracey Hare-Boyd all the best in her new role as the first female President of Sydney Northern Beaches branch.
We welcome Hanna Clare to education, Jo Cooper to youth, Alex Salier to marketing and Janice Faaolatane to general activities. We are fortunate to blend youth with a considerable amount of experience.
We also have a wealth of experience on our committees with past branch presidents (Paul Day, Gordon Lang), club presidents (Paul Day, Arthur McCarroll, Bernie Burrows, Damian O’Shannasy) and life members.
