Cath Hillier Homepage news

On March 12th, 13th and 14th, Patrol Competition, Champion Lifesaver and First Aid Competitions were held alongside the Masters events at Swansea-Belmont SLSC. Our very own Shannon Job gives a great explanation of what Lifesaving competition is all about in the video below…

Our North Steyne team did our Club proud this year. The Patrol Comp team donning the black and gold caps with pride, winning a Bronze medal, for the second year running, amazing efforts by all.

Our Lifesaving team competed over two days with Champion lifesaver Shannon Job 1st; Deb Foote, Sarah Lally, Kyra Jenkins, Jack Watt, Salvador Ribeiro and Ewen Cooper-Frater.

Our Masters team included Caroline Yarnell, Salvador Ribeiro, Sarah Lally and Erin Colwell. Congratulations to all, outstanding efforts – see photos below.

Caroline Yarnell winning Gold for the 1km beach run
A great action shot of Sal Ribeiro on his way to gold at state champs
Sarah Lally winning Silver in the Board Relay

All the hard work and training paying off for our team at the State Champs, Great role models for our Nippers who will hopefully follow in their footsteps in the future.
