There is a lot going on at the Club this coming long week-end.

First, we welcome our friends from Warrnambool SLSC who will be staying at the Club from Thursday – Monday. This will be their 4th year staying with us, and they are in Manly to compete in the Australia Day Carnival. Competitors, parents and team managers will be at the Club, so make sure you give our guests a warm welcome.

Friday night (25 January) our regular end-of-month SIPS will be held. These will kick off at approximately 6pm. Come and meet our Warrnambool friends and enjoy a cold beer with cool breezes while enjoying the best views in Sydney from our balconies – which are now open!

Saturday the Australian Day Carnival will be on at Manly, and the Club Room will once again be open for refreshments from 12:30-3:00pm.

Sunday our regular Nippers will be held, along with Ripper Nippers, and the Club Room will be open from 11:00am-2:00pm.

The Australia Day Carnival will also move to Freshie on Sunday. Combining the Manly and Freshie carnivals will make the Australia Day Carnival one of the biggest of the year and truly create a week-end of surf.

Good luck to all competitors and Happy Australia Day everyone!
