It was January 2020, just before the pandemic was officially announced, when Mo and Hasan, with friends from @NorthernBeaches4Palestine, were here at North Steyne learning about Surf Life Saving and our North Steyne Nipper Program.
It has been their mission to develop a Surf Life Saving Club in Gaza, and this has not wavered. Continuing their work throughout the last two challenging years, they did not give up and now in July 2022 they are celebrating. They have held their first Nippers Open Day on their beach.
They have shared this video with us, it is so wonderful to see so many smiling faces in the Black and Gold Caps. We wish our friends Mo and Hasan and the whole community all the best and look forward to one day meeting again to continue and strengthen our clubs together.
