The 115th AGM was held in person on Sunday 17th July at the club, with a great number of members and VIP guests attending and showing their support. We also had a number of members attend online via zoom.
Thank you to our Patrons Des Macteer, Jean Hay AM and David Hay for continuing on as Patrons for the 116th season. It was great to see you at the AGM. Also thank you to Mayor Michael Regan for coming along.
The new Board of Directors for the upcoming season was elected and the Season 2021 2022 Annual Report was presented and accepted.
Many of last year’s Board members are returning, and we are lucky to have some new people joining the team. In particular, we welcome Lachlan Van der Pluijm as Chief Instructor, and number of new Assistant Directors* who are listed below.

Special thanks to Frank Traugott who leaves the Board after actively serving for 12 years. He remains, however, the Immediate Past President and will no doubt be involved going forward. Also, thanks to Freya O’Neill, Olivia Penny and Brian Mariotti who were assistants last season and have decided not to stand again.
All Directors and their assistants contribute many hours to ensuring the Club properly functions, and do all those things behind the scenes that most people don’t know about. We cannot do it alone, however, and need everyone’s contribution to ensure we can fulfill our responsibilities as a surf lifesaving club.
