Skills Maintenance Final call

Cath Hillier Homepage news

Dear patrolling members

Good news, we have received an extension for Bronze Wet and IRB Skills Maintenance components as the flags where not raised over the last two weekends due to the Northern Beaches lockdown.

The Education Team will be running three final skills maintenance sessions over this coming long weekend.

Skills Maintenance sessions will run as follows:

Friday January 1st: 1:30pm-2:30pm
(please arrive at 1:15pm to be ready on the beach by 1:30pm)

Saturday 2nd January: 12:30pm-1:30pm
(please arrive at 12:15pm to be ready on the beach by 12:30pm)

 Sunday the 3rd: 12:30pm-1:30pm
(please arrive at 12:15pm to be ready on the beach by 12:30pm)

Whilst we plan to run the above sessions, please remember that if the flags are not raised due to dangerous conditions, we may look to move the location ie to Manly or Queenscliff if required so check for notifications via our facebook community member page or NSSLSC instagram.

Please understand that the very last skills maintenance session is scheduled for Sunday 3rd January. All skills maintenance beyond this date will need to be lodged for approval with Branch and finally SLSNSW.

Please note, your skills maintenance cannot be processed unless all Online Learning is complete. Log in to the members portal to complete it here and click on the e-learning tab.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to make contact with our education team Hanna and Trae.

Kind regards
