We regret to inform you that Tony Saunders passed away on Monday while receiving care at hospital. Tony was an active and valued member of our club, contributing in various capacities.
He joined the club alongside his two sons, Will and Adam, and made a meaningful impact. Tony served as a Nipper Dad, played the role of Santa, Gear Steward, participated as a Masters rower, BBQ and Friday night SIPS regular.
Tony was known for his generosity, always willing to dedicate his time to the club and its members. We deeply appreciate his contributions and friendship.
Tony’s funeral will be held this Friday 15th September at 12:15 in the Rose Chapel at Macquarie Park Crematorium. Following the service, friends and fellow members are welcome to join us for a casual gathering at Harbord Diggers to remember and celebrate Tony’s life.
