Always honing their Lifesaving abilities, 12 of our incredible volunteer IRB Drivers and Crew attended the Sydney Northern Beaches ALBERT Centre of Excellence held at Dee Why SLSC on Saturday 7th May. The day was a huge success, with our lifesavers exposed to various environments, techniques and situations.
The ALBERT program aims to enhance the skills and experiences of lifesavers through collaborative and consistent training, utilising a mix of drill-based activities, dedicated coaching and scenario-based training. A CoE contains a mix of dry theory and on- water practical work. The audience for this program is IRB personnel at each Club.
