NSSLSC Youth Trip to Warrnambool 2023

webadmin Homepage news, Members area, News

In early October this year, the youth members of North Steyne SLSC will kick off their inaugural journey to Warrnambool SLSC in Victoria. Warrnambool SLSC boasts a rich heritage in surf lifesaving that traces back to the early 1900s. Nestled along the Great Ocean Road, this club shares a profound connection with us, as their youth visit North Steyne every summer. Hopefully this will become a yearly trip for all future Youth members to attend.

The primary aim of this excursion is for our youth to foster enduring friendships, gain valuable experiences, and pave the way for future collaborations and exchanges. The youth members will have the chance to delve into the world of Warrnambool SLSC. Collaborative training sessions will be conducted to enhance their expertise and capabilities in surf lifesaving. The schedule will allow ample leisure time for surfing, swimming, and exploring the charming town and its picturesque surroundings. Additionally, we seek to grow as a youth team, getting to better know each other and to bring greater proficiency skills to North Steyne patrols.

This trip will not be possible without your help!
